OxiPro OX2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter

I’d already bought a pulse oximeter (an EMAY SleepO2), as I knew I snored, and I wanted to see how likely it was I was suffering from obstructive sleep apnoea. Using the SleepO2 showed me that my SpO2 levels did indeed drop periodically during the night; what I wanted to test next was whether a vibration/sound alert would jolt me out of snoring. Not wanting to spend more than I had to I chose the OxiPro OX2, despite the fact that it isn’t primarily intended for overnight use. And that was the problem. It worked as designed, but wearing it in bed is not really practicable. It moves on the finger too easily for this, resulting in false alarms. The way you can configure the alert (and other features) on the device itself rather than via a smartphone app is a nice touch, as is the fact that it doesn’t require connection to a wrist module, but there’s no getting round the fact that it isn’t very securely attached. I ended up buying a more expensive oximeter intended for overnight use instead. So… the OxiPro OX2 works, but unfortunately not well enough for my purposes.

Does all it is meant to do and the battery condition and warning beep for abnormal readings is a bonus.
